The natural reserve Strunjan belongs to the landscape park Strunjan and is home to various geological and geomorphic characteristics. It includes 4 km of the Northern sea shore, with the entire surface of 160 ha. The most interesting attraction are the cliffs, even up to 80 m high, made of soft flysch layers which allow fast reconstruction of the shore. The cliff of Strunjan is the highest cliff made of flysch on the entire Adriatic coast.
