Located on the right bank of the river Krka near the village Gumber, the castle which dates back to the 15th or 16th century originally served as a court of the Charterhouse of Pleterje. The building is a typical representative of court architecture from the 16th century. It is also mentioned in the tale of the writer Tavčar, entitled Otok in struga (An island and river bed). Today, the castle is being lived in. There is a horse stable in the castle's vicinity.
