The park covers Solčava district, Robanov kot valley, Matkov kot valley and The Logarska dolina valley. Most of the area is covered with woods. Solčava is a curdled alpine village. In the past, there was not enough space for everyone to settle in the valley, so they moved higher into the mountains. The alpine farms are a unique rarity. The park also includes many other sights of interest, such as Matkov škaf (Matko's pail), Logarjeva lipa (Logar's lime tree), Brložniška votlina (cave), the waterfall Rinka, Potočka zijalka (cave) and many others.
