The river Radovna changed its course during the ice age and carved its riverbed in the lime-stone ground between the hills Boršt and Hom. There is a path leading through the gorge Vintgar, which offers magnificent view on the pools, waterfalls and rapids. Visitors can recover their strength in the bistro located at the entrance. Access by bus or car is possible all the way to the parking space in front of the entrance.
