Triglav North Wall

Triglav North Wall

The highest Slovenian peak is 2864 metres high. It is also a national symbol and is featured on the Slovenian coat of arms. At the top of the mountain stands a metal tower, called Aljažev stolp. It is possible to see the bay of Trieste from Triglav during clear weather and ideal conditions. Hikers and climbers can rest or stay overnight in the lodging home at Kredarica, beneath the top of Triglav. The north rock wall presents a challenge for every experienced climber. It is enlisted among the highest rock walls in the Alps.
