The Dovžan Gorge
Due to its numerous finds of old fossils and Palaeozoic minerals, the Dovžan gorge belongs to the group of the most important geological paths in Slovenia. The gorge has been excavated by the Tržiška Bistrica, which has created many rapids and cascades. There is a well maintained path leading around the gorge, which is located near Tržič.
