Source of the Soča River
The Soča takes its source in Trenta. Its blue and green water rises from the karts source and then immediatelly falls 15 metres deep as a waterfall. The source of the Soča river is the beginning of one of the most beautifiul rivers in Slovenia. It is possible to visit the source by following a well maintained footpath which starts at the cottage called Koča pri izviru.
