Savica Waterfall
The waterfall Savica is one of the most known Slovenian waterfalls. Even France Prešeren mentioned it in his famous poem Krst pri Savici. Savica is the name of a brook, a waterfall and a karst water source which runs into lake Bohinj. It is 78 metres high and has always attracted tourists, which is why there is a well maintained path leading to the waterfall from the cottage next to the parking place.
