Porezen Landscape Park
With its 1630 m of height, Porezen is the highest peak in the Cerkno hill range. This was the Rapallo Border area after World War I and many military bunkers have been preserved to the present time. You can rest in the Andrej-Žvan Boris mountain lodge and visit the NOB (National Liberation War) monument at the top. The peak makes a great viewpoint from which one can gaze at the Julian Alps and the surrounding hills.
