Natural Reserve Smrekovec- Komen
Smrekovec is the youngest volcanic ridge in Slovenia. Its highest mountain peak is called Komen, with an altitude of 1684 m. Despite its height, the path to the top is not very demanding for an average montaineer and is also well marked. The ridge is the home of endangered and rare splant species. The access to the lodging house Dom na Smrekovcu is available by car from Ljubno.
