Nanos Landscape Park
The “Pleša” (Bald Spot) area on the Nanos plateau extends to 1262 m of an altitude and is an excellent viewpoint, providing sight over the Postojna basin and the Vipava valley all the way to the bay of Trieste. It is home to a variety of plant and animal species, boasts many natural sights and also merges with the local cultural heritage. Especially interesting is the 500 years old yew tree. When reaching the top, visitors can rest in the cottage named Vojkova koča.
