Menina Plateau
Menina is a small plateau in the foothills of the Savinja Alps. It used to be the former border between the Styria region and Carniola region. The major part of the Menina plateau belonged to the church. It is believed that the plateau got its name from the Slovenian word 'menih', meaning 'a monk'. Two sights of interest are the lake named Biba, and the ice cave named Jespa.
