Karst Regional Park
The Karst Regional Park mostly consists of the Karst plateau, an original karst area. It stretches as far as to the Brkini mountain range. The most interesting sights are: the Vilenica cave, Štanjel, the Lipica stud farm. Located nearby are the Škocjan caves. The Karst is famous for its vineyards and the renowned karst prosciutto.
