Jeruzalem-Ormož Hills
This wonderful country covered in vineyards was an inspiration already to the crusaders returning home from the Holy Land. That is why nowadays this area bears the name Jerusalem. The so called wine road, which produces the renowned local white wine, leads through the area. Distinctive features of this area are vineyard cottages and wind rattles which are erected in the autumn to chase away the birds and announce that the grapes are ripening.
