Bistrica Gorge
There are many sights of interest in the valley of the brook Bistrica under Pohorje. It is well worth visiting the Roman quarry, the Ančnik's site of ancient fort, the Kersnik's lime-tree, the Bojtina swamp, the lake Črno jezero, the Lovrenc's moor, the Robič's chestnut-tree, the lake Ribniško jezero, the waterfall Bistriški šum and many more. Particularly interesting is the Marolt's Abies Alba, which is regarded as the highest fir tree in Europe.
