Belojača Cave in Haloze

Belojača Cave in Haloze

The cave Belojača is located in the vicinity of Makole, where it lies hidden under the Haloze hills. It is a karst cave, even though untypical for this part of Slovenia, and it was created by the brook Šega. It is the longest horizontal cave of such type in Haloze. It is the home of the cave locust Troglophilus.
