Vipolže Villa
The only preserved Renaissance manor-fort villa in Slovenia was once the economical centre of the vineyard area in the Goriška Brda hills. The manor was first mentioned in the 12th century, but gained its final appearance in the 17th century. Rare trees have been preserved in the surrounding park. The most magnificent are the old cypresses, well worth visiting. The interior is not arranged for visits.
