The museum houses three permanent collections. It is named after a NOB (National Liberation) activist, Tomaž Godec. The archaeological exibition focuses on the early settlement of Bohinj from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. The leather exibition demonstrates the work in an old leather-workshop, and the museum of the Battles of the Isonzo displays the artifacts from World War 1.
