Sveta Gora Chapels
Located on the Sveta Gora mountain ridge, there are five successively positioned churches. The oldest ones date back to the 9th century. The church of Lurška Mati Božja is the biggest one. A road leads to the foot of the mountain and from there visitors can take a walk to the top of the hill. It is an important pilgrimage site and major gatherings take place here on the Holidays of the Virgin Mary.
