Socerb Castle near Črni Kal
The castle stands on a karst cliff and offers wonderful sight on the whole bay of Trieste and the coast. The first origins of the castle go back to the period of the Illyrians. In the vicinity is a holly cave, which was the hiding place of St. Socerb, a martyr. Today, there is a nice restaurant in the castle.
