Snežnik Castle, Kozarišče
The castle Snežnik, which was first mentioned in the records from the 13th century, is located on the south-western part of the Loška dolina valley. The castle, which is surrounded by walls and towers, is excellently preserved. It also includes a large park. There is a hunting and dormouse museum in the vicinity. The castle is today also used as one of the protocol residencies of the Republic of Slovenia.
