Slovenian Museum of Natural History
The Slovenian Museum of Natural History is (together with the National Museum of Slovenia) the oldest museum in the country. It also functions a scientific institution which is exploring the natural and cultural heritage. The permanent collections on display are the mammoth skeleton, a 210 million years old fish skeleton, a mineral collection, a collection of mollusc shells, the cave animals collection, etc.
