The museum is located in the Šešek house, formerly known as the Sokol house. The themes of the collections: archaeology, ethnology, history, art history. Permanent exhibitions: Božidar Jakac: Drawings, The Kočevje region: Lost Cultural Heritage of the Kočevje Germans, NATION SELF WILL WRITE JUDGEMENT ALONE – Slovenia from idea to republic.
