Otočec Castle on the River Krka
The castle Otočec is particularly interesting because of its position. It is located on an artificial island on the Krka river. The beginnings of the castle date back to the 13th century. It was turned into a five-stars hotel after World War 2. It has been declared a cultural monument of national importance.
