National Museum of Slovenia in Ljubljana
The National Museum of Slovenia was opened in 1821 and is the oldest of all museum institutions in Slovenia. Permanent collections comprise: two Lapidariums, ancient Egyptian mummies and an outline of the history of the Slovene people. The museum includes an archaeological department, a graphics cabinet, a library, a numismatic cabinet, a conservation and restoration department, and a history and applied arts department.
