National Museum of Contemporary History in Ljubljana
The National Museum of Contemporary History is located in the representative Baroque building of the Cekin Castle. It focuses on recent history- the beginning of the 20th century. The collections exhibit various weapons, military equipment, numismatic and philatelic collections, medals, decorations and much more. The permanent museum exhibition is entitled 'Slovenes in the 20th Century'. It is possible to rent the ceremonial hall (the Knights’ Hall) in the castle.
