Memorial House of Primož Trubar, Rašica
In the memory of Primož Trubar, a Slovenian protestant clergyman, writer and translator, the 'Temek mill' has been turned into the 'Trubar gaj', embellished with the lovely surroundings next to the Rašica stream. The memorial room is set in the former old mill and the gallery in the main building. There is also a saw, a traditional Slovenian hay-rack, the statue of Primož Trubar, made by Tršar, standing at the entrance to the memorial room, a fishermen house, etc. According to the selection of the magazine Žurnal, Trubar is the most important Slovene. He is the author of the first Slovenian book.
