Giuseppe Tartini Memorial Room
One of the oldest buildings in Piran houses the memorial room dedicated to the famous violin virtuoso and the founder of the violinist school, Guiseppe Tartini. The artefacts on display are the following: the death mask, maestro's violin, note paper, a copper engraving depicting Tartini's dreams and his oil- paint portrait. The biggest square in Piran is named after Tartini whose statue stands in the middle of the square.
