Gewerkenegg Castle in Idrija
In the renovated castle, which dates back to the 16th century, there is a permanent exhibition entitled 'Five Centuries of Mercury Mine and the Town of Idrija'. The castle is also the home of a geological collection and the France Bevk memorial room. The castle also displays en view the beautiful and famous Idrijan lace.
