Church of St. Mathias, Slap at Vipava
The church of St. Mathias in Slap at Vipava was built by the Order of St. John, an order similar to the Teutonic Knights who fought the Turks. Several Maltese crosses and an abundance of paintings can be found inside the church. The church has preserved its appearance from the year 1702.
