Castle Jama, Predjama
The castle was first mentioned in the 13th century. It is unique because of its location. It was erected in front of a cave, but a part of the castle was built also inside the cave. It hangs on a rock wall, 123 metres above the ground. It was the home of the famous robber Erazem Predjamski. Today, the castle houses a small museum and a medieval armoury. Dummies are set to present the medieval life in the castle.
