Caphucin Monastery in Vipavski
The Vipavski Križ settlement is probably most known for its Capuchin monastery and its library which contains around 2000 books printed in the years between 1510 and 1800. One of the most precious treasures is a manuscript code –the prayer book from the 15th century. The library also contains the Holy Handbook of the Capuchine preacher Janez Svetokriški, the Collected Works of St. Jerome, the works of St. Augustine and many others.
