Borl Castle

The castle originates from the 12th or 13th century. It was built on a rocky ledge above the Drava River. The myths connect it to the search for the Holy Grail and Parsifal. During World War 2, the castle served as an internment camp, and after that it was converted into a hotel, which was later on closed. The castle is a magnificent viewpoint. During the summer time, it hosts various cultural events.
