Ipavec House – the Birth House of
Ipavec Composers
In the centre of the town Šentjur, stands the birth house of the Ipavec family, the family of composers and doctors. It houses a permanent exhibition about their lives and works. The basement holds a wine cellar with excellent wines of local winers. In the garden, there is an old linden tree, a stone table, and a well, designed by Jože Plečnik. The house also includes a hall used as a venue for weddings.
