Birth House of France Prešeren
The house is situated in a small village called Vrba, the birth place of our greatest poet France Prešeren, who was born in 1800. The locals call the house "Pri Ribiču" (At fisherman's). The house was turned into a museum in 1939. Today, it exibits various literal works; translations, poems and the poet's biographies. The most interesting is the well-preserved craddle, which was used for rocking Prešeren as a baby.
