Baraga Birth House in Mala Vas near Dobrnič
Friderik Irenej Baraga worked as a missionary in America and Canada in the 19th century. A county and a settlement have been named after him near the town Marquette. There was even a statue erected in his memory. The house has been turned into a museum. The first part presents his life in Slovenia, and the second his life in America. There is a well maintained Baraga walking route nearby.
