Ajdovski gradec hill is an important archaeological site. The finds date back to the 5th and 6th century, from the era of migration and Romanization of the original inhabitants. This area had been inhabited even earlier and had an important mining and iron-making significance. The access to the hill is at Vranje pri Sevnici.
