Our pleasant family house is situated in a quiet part of the Prestranek settlement. We offer rooms and an apartment with private parking. You will relax in nicely furnished and bright rooms or apartment. You can also relax and quench your thirst in the shade in the garden. In fine weather you can walk along the slopes of the forest that starts behind the house. A nearby restaurant is only 200 m away. They serve tasty international cuisine as well as a wide variety of typical traditional Slovenian and carstic food. The beautiful carstic landscape is full of surprises. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walks in nature, while you can also enjoy biking in the surrounding villages. Postojna is a town that lies 5 km away. It is famous for its Postojna cave that is only 6 km away from our lodging, and only 10 km further the Predjama Castle. Nearby is the Prestranek Castle riding school. Our lodging is also an excellent starting point for many cultural and historical attractions, such as the mining town of Idrija, the partisan hospital Franja, the typical carstic village of Štanjel, Lipica - the birthplace of the world famous Lipizzaner horses, the intermittent lake Cerknica, the Snežnik castle, the Križna Cave, the technical museum Bistra near Vrhnika, the park of military history in Pivka, and finally, the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. We are also only 60 km away from the sea, where the historical Hrastovlje and the pleasant seaside town of Piran are ... We are happy to provide tourist information about everything that might be of interest to all of the guests that decide to stay in our rooms and apartment.
