Museumsbestand, Ajdovščina
At Prešernova 24 in Ajdovščina, next to the old mill, there is a special permanent Slovene fossil exhibition. It displays around 1200 fossils that were collected in Slovenia by Stanislav Bačar. Among them are specimens discovered here for the first time in the world. The history of Ajdovščina is presented in the Fluvio Frigido – Castra – Flovius – Ajdovščina exhibition.
